There will be definitively more like that, it's fun to make and also it's easier to work into the lore than one would think ^^
Inhagane type 37b "Shockwave" so low spread is a positive, but it starts out with one beam and splits it into weaker ones. wouldnt it be better to just keep that one beam then? is there any benefit from splitting the laser and turning it into a shotgun other than the cool factor? or am i just being dumb cause im very sleepy?

Welp there's the obvious crowd control shtick, but also, with how lasers work in my setting, even if the laser divides, that doesn't mean that each bullet has only a fraction of the base beam's power.
Due to the fact that it is semi hard light, it carries enough momentum to do serious damages.
RC-5 "Quasar Blaster" nice. it's a much more interesting and unique concept than just "big gun blow planet up :O"
