An activation key? Do you need to activate a gun like an old software disk before you could shoot it or something?

Gharmey-Hapscoy responds:

Basically you take the key that's in the bottom right corner and when you unbox the gun, you insert the key into the battery port and you pull the slide this'll activate the gun and unlock its basic functions.

The reason why they do this is to avoid risks linked to off the shelf theft since those keys are not in the box directly when in store, thus landing the thief with a useless weapon.
